Director & Screenwriter
Kenneth Oyegun
Kenneth Oyegun was born in Lagos, Nigeria and seized a passion for film at an early age. The onset of this love for motion pictures came years ago after watching “The Goonies” (to this day his favorite film), and proclaiming at the tender age of 3 “I wanna do that.” Thus started a love affair that led him to Temple University, from where he will graduate in 2012.
After graduating high school Kenneth formed his own production company “Culturshock Films.” Shooting videos for weddings, parties, and other social events, the company ceased production in 2006. At that point, Ken continued adding to his professional resume with a string of PA work on various feature film and TV projects, ranging from low-budget horror to a documentary for HBO.
Ken has had an interesting, varied journey through the cinematic world. Though he has amassed a great deal of experience within the field, he still feels that much is to be learned. “Therapy” marks his first foray into directing, and he is very excited, having spent the better part of three years crafting the story that has now been transformed into his first short film.
